At the Hillary Outdoors Centre, the 20 Year 12 students participated in a range of activities including abseiling, overnight camps, rock climbing, bush and alpine experiences. The activities are designed to develop outdoor skills, build relationships through teamwork, and challenge students in a new environment with the support and guidance of the trained Hillary Outdoors instructors.

The students toured the AUT City Campus, the University of Auckland, and Massey University Albany campuses and accommodation.
