School Counsellor / Registered Social Worker

  • Part-time
  • $33.74 - $46.91 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Counsellor or Registered Social Worker with counselling experience to join our school community for Term 4, 2026. This position offers flexibility, and we welcome applications from candidates seeking either part-time or full-time employment. This role will be offered on a fixed-term contract through to the end of Term 4, 2026.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide counselling and wellbeing support to students
  • Work collaboratively with students, whānau, staff, and external agencies
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Be committed to supporting the wellbeing and success of all students

  • Hold appropriate qualifications and current registration relevant to the role
