YES Trade Fair at The Packhouse Market
This was an exceptional Trade Fair and a valuable opportunity for our students to showcase their businesses, with 45 YES student businesses from around the region attending, including 20 from Kerikeri High School. All the students involved did an amazing job creating inviting stalls and talking to the customers that came along to support the event.
Leah Shrubshall (Year 12) was awarded 2nd place by the official judges for her business Wingin' It. Leah is helping the cost-of-living crisis by providing healthy laying chickens to locals.
In the People's Choice Awards (chosen by shoppers on the day); Leah Shrubshall was voted the winner. Charlie Rowe (Year 12) and Luke Norman (Year 12) were voted 2nd for their business Gnarly Co. which creates branded sunglasses, beanies and caps. Hayley Foster (Year 12) was voted 4th for her low sugar recipe book.

Year 13 students Yoko-Belle Brewis, Kiani Hogg, Zoe Merlo and Koko Rosevear received the prize (donated by Repco) for Outstanding Customer Service. Their business Funky Ferments creates sauerkraut, kimchi, chili oil and hummus.
