The Netball Development Tour was designed to enhance the skills of our netballers and further their development of netball knowledge at an international level. The students played five matches against five different schools and clubs from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. They experienced wins and losses and used each match to grow and adapt their play. Our netballers thoroughly enjoyed attending a professional netball coaching clinic where they received advice and guidance from Australian Diamonds’ legends Liz Watson and Cara Koenen.
This trip was made possible with the huge support of whānau and a range of businesses throughout our community.
Our thanks to Miss Sarah Couling who organised the trip and coached the squad with Mrs Trudie Porter and Mrs Cindylee Joyce and Mrs Jane Jarman who was the teacher in charge.
