What is Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 is an online software service provided by Microsoft. Because it's hosted "in the cloud" it's available to users from any internet-connected computer or device with a web browser - Edge, Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

Kerikeri High School has set up Microsoft 365 for all staff and students. You have your own account, a personal OneDrive storage space, Outlook Online with your own school email address, plus Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote Online. You don't need to install anything on your computer or device to get started. Just use your web browser to sign in and away you go.

For the full Office experience and offline use, you can also download and install a complete copy of Office on up to five of your own personal computers and devices for free, including your family's home computer. This is the same copy of Office that we run on school computers and laptops.

You can also install the Microsoft 365 apps from the Apple Store and Google Play onto your mobile devices. The apps will connect to your Microsoft 365 account allowing you to check your mail or work with your files on the go.
